About Dreadnought
Dreadnought is a private capital firm. We occupy the space between a hedge fund and an investment bank. Dreadnought identifies and develops alternative asset opportunities for our own account and for project partners. Dreadnought seeks out latent value in large industries which has been overlooked by the existing constituents.
Using our deep capital markets experience across all major industries, we generates bespoke ideas to capture and monetize that latent value. To accomplish this, we invest heavily upfront in order to de-risk projects ensuring bankability and ultimately oversized equity value accretion. Dreadnought will use both the private and public capital markets to finance projects and always with a view to a near term liquidity event .
Dreadnought does not, as a matter of principal, press release its transactions or matters related there to. We believe that our ability to move and operate imperceptibly is a dominate strength as is our disinterest in publicity. Where required by statue and/or securities regulations we comply with all disclosure requirements through that entity directly affected.
Dreadnought's principals are former investment bankers with the global banks. Our founder spent the majority of his career with the global banks at the senior levels across the major markets with time spent in New York, Toronto and London. With a particular specialization in complex M&A and value creating transactions, his experience has covered all major areas of the capital markets, derivatives and securitization. With experience gained over 25 years and +$500 billion (USD) in deal exposure. Today he leads a team that looks at markets differently, asking "why" and not "how".
